....As always I have been a busy, creative big curly haired girl in this lovely autumn month of April :)
Starting off on a sweet note, it was my son Xavier's 7th birthday on 22nd April, he asked me to make a birthday cake. Though he was not sure what cake he wanted, he trusted me to make him a good birthday cake...Sheeshh, so the pressure was on, I ended up baking different yummy flavoured cupcakes - it was a hit with the birthday boy :)

A Bit Of Sewing
Slowly but surely I'm changing my wardrobe out. The goal is to make affordable beautiful dresses for myself, reflecting my style and passion. I have sewn a couple more dresses using the Vogue pattern V8470 and of course I have altered it to suit my style and height deprivation, lol.

I had fun choosing different coloured fabric for the lining, this adds another element :)
I am absolutely enjoying the whole process - from purchasing the fabric and pattern to adjusting the pattern to cutting and sewing, and then putting the finished product on, success :)

I finally finished embellishing my daughter's album I mentioned in my last post 'Unpause, Time To Get A Into G'. I kept it simple and clean :)

Glentui here I come, yay! Yes another scrapbooking/card-making/album crafting super crop weekend in Glentui at the end of this month , more sewing, crafting, baking and living. Since my birthday is just around the corner I have selected a song that I'm into at the mo and fits the brief, lol
